Keep Calm and Get Crafting are hosting a Ladies Day on Saturday 5th September 2015 between 9:30am and 3:30pm at St Mary’s Church Hall, Bushbury Lane, Wolverhampton, WV10 8JP.
The day will consist of a choice of three crafts to try out (and take your finished project home) and an Afternoon Tea all for £7.50. Booking is essential as spaces are limited and payment must be made before the day.
The choice of crafts are:
Crochet – you will be taught the basics and produce a cotton flannel
Cross stitch – you will create a keepsake of the day
Knitting – The basics and how to use them (project will not be take home)
Canvas art – you will create a monogram gift/keepsake
Hand sewing – you will be taught how to create Suffolk Puffs and how to use them
Machine sewing – you will be taught how to create a shabby chic bunting
Card making- you will be taught different techniques and be supplied all you need in a beginners pack
All of our volunteers are not formally taught but are very enthusiastic in their crafts!
